The Victoria International Buskers Festival Society

On behalf of the Victoria International Buskers Festival Society’s Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you to Victoria’s first international busker festival.

It is the vision of the board of directors that this launch event will lead to the establishment of one of the world’s most prominent annual busker festivals to be held each July here in downtown Victoria. With the magnificent backdrop of our Inner Harbour and other vantage points throughout the core area, we plan to offer our visitors a most memorable experience!

As our new festival grows, our plan is to continually increase the number of artists and performances as well as locations and to bring the festival to greater heights while encouraging an appreciation for the art of busking. We additionally plan to introduce a special program where performers will also be encouraged to donate their time and talent to people who would otherwise not attend the shows.
