Named the “most charming city in North America” by The New York Times, Victoria offers access to everything from beautiful beaches, to snow capped mountains and ancient forests. Daily sailing, whale watching and fishing excursions are available from right downtown!  Our city offers a Mediterranean type of climate, with mild, rainy winters and dry summers.  Average July temperatures are typically in the 21°C / 70°F range.

From July 15^th to July 24^th, 2011, we are presenting one of the world’s most unique festivals!  The Victoria International Buskers Festival will present over 500 performances by more than 50 performers from around the world on event stages along our downtown Inner Harbour, on nearby Government Street and at the city’s main square.
